White Cookies
  • 2 egg whites at room temperature
  • Dash salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon Cream of Tartar
  • 2/3 cup sugar
  • 6 oz. chocolate chips
  • 1 cup walnuts
Make this recipe in the evening. Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Beat egg whites and cream of tartar until they form soft peaks. Add salt and sugar slowly. Continue to beat and until the eggs form stiff peaks. Fold in nuts and chocoalte chips. (Optional: you may omit the nuts and increase the chocolate chips to 9 to 12 oz.) Line a cookie sheet with aluminum foil and drop by rounded spoonfuls onto the sheet. ***TURN OFF OVEN*** Place cookie sheet in oven and leave overnight.
